Welcome to Ask Pickles. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ask Pickles mobile app and website (our "Services"), provided by Ask Pickles LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Ask Pickles, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
What Ask Pickles Is
Ask Pickles is a fun tool that helps you decide where to go and what to do by suggesting nearby places. Suggestions are for entertainment and convenience only. We pull place information from third-party mapping and location services, so we can't guarantee that any suggested place is open, accurate, available, or right for you.
Using the App
You agree to use Ask Pickles only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to misuse the Services, interfere with how they work, attempt to access them in unauthorized ways, or use them to harm others.
Subscriptions and Payments
Ask Pickles offers an optional paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. We do not process or store your payment information.
Ads
The free version of Ask Pickles is supported by ads. A paid subscription removes them.
No Guarantees
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any suggestion will meet your expectations. You use Ask Pickles and act on its suggestions at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ask Pickles LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services — including anything related to a place we suggested (for example, a spot that is closed, different than expected, or not to your liking). Your use of any recommended location and any experience there is your own responsibility.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app grows. When we do, we'll revise the date above. Continuing to use Ask Pickles after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
